Let's Look at an Example:

  • $300,000 = Home Value.
  • $200,000 = Amount still owed on Mortgages.
  • $100,000 = Available Homeowner's Equity.
 Now, a typical commission of 6% is paid upon the sale price, and not the Homeowner's Equity, so 6% of $300,000 = $18,000 in commissions. But is it really 6%. We submit that it is not.

Remember that $200,000 you still owed, you have to pay commission on that too. And in our opinion that is not right or fair to lose all of your hard earned equity, is it?
